Casting America As Diva and the Rest of the World in Bit Parts

In placing all blame for the woes of the world, scholars and journalists alike have put America in the starring role and the rest of the world as actors in bit parts and walk ons. But don’t other countries and their citizens act in their own behalf or do they just sit around and wait for the United States to make a move, to create a situation or a scene?
Is this the behavior of a reasonable government? Are all the world’s politicians toadies and idiots, or is there a concerted effort to “spin” against America? Robert Spencer, Director of JihadWatch reports in Mark Levine: Chomsky as Rock Star.

We also learn that the academic world believes that the West should enter into “hudna” with the terrorists, a bad move, proving that some academics aren’t as smart as they think they are, for hudna, roughly translated as truce, is layered with meaning; a truce for only an interval of ten years in the hope that Muslims will become stronger to be able to attack, the enemy will self destruct or become Muslim, meaning that even though hostilities may stop, the Muslim side will still go forward with the jihad. You would think a tenured Ph.D. at prestigious University of California, Irvine would know this! Apparently common sense wasn’t one of Dr. Levine’s undergraduate classes. Or, being a member of the Left, he prefers that United States fall victim to “terrorism by stealth” as is happening now under the radar.

Shame on you, Dr. Levine.
