"Illegal Alien" IS NOT a Racist Term, Whereas "Gringo" Is a Perjorative Term
Aren't you tired of being called a racist or xenophobe for declaring that people entering without permission are "illegal aliens?"
The term "alien" is a legal term meaning "a person who is not a native or naturalized citizen of the land where they are found. An alien who has temporary or permanent residence may be called a "resident alien." The term illegal alien describes foreign nationals who are not allowed to say in the country."
Those that object to the use of this term to describe those that came without permission or who have overstayed their visas as "racist" either misunderstand the meaning, don't understand American law, or are attempting to lay a guilt trip on the American people.
Gringo is not a nice word. A racial slur, like "wop" or "spic," gringo is used to put down North Americans, particularly white citizens of the United States.
