Do Tell! "Dutch Muslims Dismayed by Anti-Islamic Backlash"

Dhimmi Watch: Dutch Muslims Dismayed by Anti-Islamic Backlash

The heinous murder of Theo Van Gogh may be awakening the Dutch to the cancer in their country.

The best lines in the article referenced are "Selami Aydin's words will comfort many Dutch people if opinion polls are to be believed. 'I'm thinking of going back to Turkey. Seriously,' the 39-year-old Muslim said just a few hundred meters (yards) from the apartment police stormed last Wednesday after a 14-hour siege with suspected Islamic militants. 'We're all frightened.'"

I do not support or condone in any way the violent acts by some Dutch against the property of Muslims. I do support intense pressure to make these interlopers shape up or ship out. By "shape up," I mean assimilate and publicly eschew all jihad violence, then live accordingly. None of this Islamic deception any more, and if these Muslims try to pull this taqiyya (Islam sanctioned lying), then out they must go.

Leave it to Reuters to dredge up the old saw about "racism." "Some say racism has been on the rise since Fortuyn's party surged to second in a 2002 election shortly after he was killed by an animal rights activist and has ratcheted up a notch in the past two weeks."

David Horowitz in his brilliant new book, Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left, tells us who originated this "racism" as the common denominator bludgeon to intimidate everyone into inaction. It was the Left, the international and national.

In my view, the neocommunists have drained "racism" of any value as a bludgeon. I say to the Dutch and to us, do what is right and needed to be done and laugh off the accusations of racism.

After the gruesome murder on the streets of Amsterdam there has been great unrest in my country.
BUT years of neglect in our education-system reveals now a huge ignorance on fundamental democratic values among the Dutch youngsters. As I am a history-teacher myself , I have seen it happen in Dutch schools.
If we are to defend our democratic western values against islamic pretentions we ought at least know these values and live by them. The hedonistic attitute of the nineties is felt now among our youngsters.
Racism and violence are growing among them. Many violent incidences against foreigners the last two weeks are very painfull reminders of our echec in education.
The false idea of islamic moral supriority on moral issues gains adherence among discontented young Turks and Moroccans in our country.More education to learn young people to live as real democratic citizens is of utmost importance.
