The Idiocy of Our Immigration Non-Policies and Non-Enforcement

It keeps getting worse. We are more at risk because the immigration policies of the U.S. don’t reflect the present world situation. In the past cheap labor coming over the southern border was welcomed as the borders haven’t been thoroughly reinforced and patrolled in decades, or if ever.

But the world situation has changed and politicos are making a stab at immigration reform while immigrant groups and fifth columnists are agitating to prevent reform, border reinforcement, and increased patrols along either border.

Drug smugglers, contraband, and other criminal activity as well as human trafficking for the sex industry, contract labor, and traffic for other migratory purposes are streaming over in torrents. No one can know exactly who is coming in and what they are bringing, an example of the idiocy of our immigration non-policies!

Arizona seems to be a prime point for illegal entry. Smugglers are bringing in goods and people to be taken to urban areas, but they just as well be smuggling in goods, people, and arms to be distributed among the caves and canyons of the U.S. Southwest as an armory or staging ground for invasion.

Illegal immigration has pretty much trashed many parts of the South West. The cost to environment is un-reparable and the dollar losses due to damage to water systems, fences, salaries, and security is mounting.

Some groups put the blame on the government for attempting to prevent migration and others for not making a definitive stop to illegal migration. Either way, we are not safe under the present circumstances.

Groups that propose open migration are putting us at risk because anyone can get in. Those that apply the present law haphazardly are also guilty of creating the same unacceptable risk.

Read about the situation in Arizona for an eye-opener.
