Keep Your Eyes on England: Watch the Light of Freedom Go Out
A friend of mine in the U.K. has opened my eyes to dispel me of some unforgiveable naivete on my part. I had been giving Tony Blair and most of his government a big, warm-fuzzy, because they helped out in Iraq. I am still grateful for their help, but I no longer hold Blair and his government in any positive regard. The reason for that change comes with learning what Blair et al are doing to England and my alarm at parallel processes occuring in America.
Socialism ceased advancing in Britain a while back, but the fundamental ideas of socialism never ceased. Socialism is a political-economic-ethical system under which the state subordinates the individual by force if necessary to the omnipotence of the state. Socialism has several forms going by familiar names: socialism (per se), fascism and its Nazi variant, and communism. Commonly, people think of socialism as a state whereby the state itself owns all of the means of production. Direct socialism and certainly communism showed how useless this system is because production ceases, thereby impoverishing the looting state.
The post-WWII method of socialism has been fascism. Fascism holds the supremacy of the state over all individuals, but it goes through the fiction of appearing to leave ownership and control of property and means of production with the private sector. However, fascism dictates every aspect of every business and every individual with do and don't laws and regulations, including whether one can use or dispose of one's property without the specific sanction of the state. Well, ownership without control is not ownership. Individuals are left with the responsibilities to try to make their endeavors successful under fascism, but they live at the whim of the state, and they are bled dry by state taxation. Fascism relishes the use of force to achieve state ends, not as a last resort, but a first.
This is England of today, and sadly too much of America. Blair and his utterly totalitarian minded Home Secretary Blunkett are busy banning everything they can; they want to control all human activity of all those in the U.K. Blair, et al, are bloody fascists. Their latest assault is on freedom of speech. Putting stuff over on Britons is made altogether too easy since England does not have a written constitution; their guidance, such as it is, fulfills all of the evils of having a constitution be a "living document."
Blunkett, with Blair's full support, wants to make religious criticism an imprisonable offense. Specifically, he has taken Muslims under his wing, to protect their nefarious Islam and active jihadist activities. Against whom is he protecting these seditious and traitorious rabble? Why, he wants to protect them from protestations from BRITISH CITIZENS.
England, like continental Europe, has been utterly infested and infected with the worst of Islamic riff-raff. Mosques are centers for plotting the overthrow of Britain and any other non-Islamic country. The big enemy is capitalism because it is the moral-political system of freedom. Muslims have coalesced into gangs to terrorize Brits. What is going on in England with these practitioners of Islam reflects the same evil going on elsewhere in the world.
Why not snuff out these bad actors? For one, Muslims breed like cockroaches and have reached enough of a mass to make a-conceptual, power-lusting politicians court their votes and support. Second, so much of the English population have had their minds socialized. Thus, they extol all of the values and virtues of the Left. Their minds embrace the total state. It is very sad.
Britains face some very serious choices. 1) Emigration, like the Dutch are doing. 2) Submission. 3) Form a resistance movement. Few Brits can really leave, so that is not a big option. Submission is intolerable for people of authentic self-esteem. That leaves the option of resisting.
To resist, you have to have good ideas that guide you to the correct actions leading to the proper ends. No pro-freedom ideas seem prevalent in the England of today. To become free and to stay free, one has to have an integrated cascade of solid ideas tied to the requirements of reality, reason, rational self-interest, and the political system of capitalism. There are no alternatives.
The problem with Britain is not unique to Britain. Britain demonstrates what happens when citizens fail to give the explicit life-and-death importance to ideas. Societies are dynamic. Without the proper direction, they do not remain static; they still change. If they are not evolving, then they are devolving. For them to evolve, they must meet the requirements of holding explicit, life-and-death support of non-contradictory ideas leading to freedom; that support comes as ceaseless daily action, actions taken with full vigilance.
Watch Britain die. What is happening to Britain is happening to us. It is still not too late for us.
