Cassandra's "Ode to Denial"
The speed at which the invasion is taking place is alarming. A long time ago, in 2005, I saw this quote from "Anonymous," and thought that I should share it with anyone who hasn't seen it yet:
"At some point, our collective heads will come up out of the sand, probably by the force of an explosion; and we'll stand, mouths agape like so many fish out of wter, trying to comprehend a situation we've done our best to ignore."

Denial of the prophesy of Cassandra.
The Russians spoke of Cassandra, " ...and we have so much in common," except commonsense, as they made their bloody Exodus from Afghanistan and US took its place in the Prophesy of Cassandra.
