Almost Belated...

We at Sixth Column and 6th Column Against Jihad send grateful sentiments for the 229th birthday of the United States Marine Corps today.

My, how we admire and support you, and the other men and women in armed service for America. You make it possible for us to live how we do and do what we do. It hurts the hell out of us when some of our countrymen and countrywomen disparage you. It is too bad you have to save them too, but that is how a republic of rights works.

Some of us have served along side of you at sea, off Africa, in the Mediterranean, and Operation Provide Comfort. It was an honor to do so, as it is an honor to be a veteran now retired from a full career in the Navy.
