Tarbaby Moussaoui
If you have heard it once, you have heard it so many times that you could not begin to recount the sources.
This is just one of a jillion news stories (highly excerpted):
Moussaoui Has New View of Justice System

ALEXANDRIA, Va. --
U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema quickly rejected a motion the confessed al-Qaida conspirator filed Monday to withdraw his guilty plea and get a new trial.
In his motion, Moussaoui said he lied on the witness stand March 27 when he reversed four years of denials and claimed he was to have hijacked a fifth jetliner on Sept. 11, 2001, and crashed it into the White House, "even though I knew that was a complete fabrication."
Moussaoui is not going away. He is there for a life sentence, and that may prove harder on us than him, certainly longer.
Whether it is limelight hogging by Moussaoui himself, posturing by the Left Unholy Alliance trying to free him or mitigate his sentence, or blunderbussive bombast from the Great Unwashed Muslimia, count on this guy recycling with high frequency.
Then remember what jurors said, that he did not actually kill anyone, so they could not sentence him to death. Recall the Nazi concentration camp guards who never really killed anyone themselves. Think of those who ran the Nazi crematoria--they never actually killed anyone themselves. Think of the driver of the MS-13 getaway car after the gang did a group slaughter--he never actually killed anyone.
Moussaoui is now our national tarbaby, stuck to us forever, to remind us how badly we are not doing the obviously correct things to do.
