Canada Doesn't Want Them…Neither Do We
Those whiners and complainers that can't get over the outcome of the recent election are threatening to move to Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, or anywhere where they won't have to contend with Red Staters or George W. Bush! Well, we've got news for you, Canada doesn't particularly want the spoiled rich brats, especially the spoiled, rich residents of Boca Raton in Palm Beach County, Florida. Would could blame them?
They are complaining that now they are plagued with a mental illness, post-election traumatic stress syndrome. They want to flee the tyranny of the United States where George W. Bush is going to give them another tax cut. Poor babies, they don't have a chance to get into Canada.
Luckily, despite the desire of some of these "patients" to flee the country we can keep them out of Canada. Canada's immigration law makes people inadmissible to Canada if they "might reasonably be expected to cause excessive demand on health or social services." And just because we don't enforce the law when it comes to dangerous criminals and terrorists doesn't mean we won't keep these sicko Floridians out. We do enforce the medical provisions of our law. Just ask some wealthy Hong Kong entrepreneur with a mildly retarded child who has been refused landing in Canada.
Maybe if they put up a bond to pay for all those mental health services that could be charged to the Canadian taxpayers, they might have a chance. Hey, that's a good idea. Let them leave and pay for the privilege. Perhaps we could induce other countries to take in these losers.
According to the Canadian press, the condition that afflicts these Floridians could not arise because of a curious phenomenon: they "know in advance that the Liberals are going to win the election before its even called."
After all no matter what happens here or what political views people hold, we all know that the Liberals are going to win the election before it is even called. Being PEST-free is just one of the benefits of being a quasi-dictatorship. Let's keep it that way.
This explains a lot about Canada, don't you think?
